Recent project was to assess $40 million manufacturing company and Chief Financial Officer. Uncovered fraud, stepped in as interim CFO. Assisted in recruitment of permanent CFO and successfully transitioned finance operations to replacement during three-month duration of the project.

Independent Director in Bankruptcy Estate

Joined the board as an independent director to oversee 363 auction process. Worked with investment bankers and management to vet potential buyers and solicit bids. Conducted 363 auction with a successful bid trumping stalking horse.

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Nevada and Texas (a not-for-profit organization)
Served as interim CFO for a $7.0 million organization that was experiencing turnover in the CFO position. Helped spec the job description and position advertising, recruited and interviewed successful permanent placement.
Day 1 Readiness and Implementation

Served as an advisor and coordinator of services to ensure that upon exit from receivership the global company was able to function in HR, IT, Finance, Accounting and Risk Management Served as management representative in critical union matter in Canada that had to be resolved prior to close. Engagement as an advisor allowed the CFO to focus on transaction matters as the assets were being purchased out of bankruptcy in the UK, Ireland, Canada and the US.
